How we decide what to build

MOMEDIAGROUP
A new app at MOMEDIAGROUP begins as an observation rather than an ambition. Someone on the team notices a small, repeated friction in ordinary life — a task that takes too many steps, information that is hard to keep track of, a moment where existing tools ask for more attention than the job deserves.
Before any design work happens, we write the problem down in one plain sentence. If we cannot describe it without jargon, we do not understand it well enough to solve it. That sentence stays with the project and becomes the test for every later decision: does this screen, setting, or notification serve the sentence, or does it serve us?
We then look at how people solve the problem today, including with paper, messages, and memory. Those workarounds tell us which parts of the experience actually matter. Often the most valuable feature is the one that removes a step rather than adding one.
Only when a problem survives that scrutiny does it become a product. It is a deliberately slow filter, and it is the reason our portfolio grows carefully instead of quickly.
